BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Bank street woman charged after being found with two glass “crack” pipes

Batavia Police were dispatched to the area of 148 Hutchins street on July 2, 2019 for a female who was reportedly “shooting up”

Upon arrival, Police located Colleen Hutchinson, 44, of Bank street, Batavia.

A follow up investigation revealed Hutchinson was allegedly in possession of a hypodermic instrument and two glass “crack” pipes.

She is charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Hutchinson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 16, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

James J. Preedom, 34, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with controlled substance not in original container and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th following an investigation into a disturbance complaint on State street on July 1, 2019 at 11:22p.m.

Preedom was allegedly found in possession of two controlled substances.

He was issued an appearance ticket and released and will appear in City Court on July 23, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Stacey C. McCaffery, 36, of North St. Rd., LeRoy, is charged with DWAI/alcohol and aggravated DWI after allegedly operating her vehicle at a high rate of speed and unable to maintain lane on Rt. 5 on June 30, 2019.

After stopping the vehicle for a traffic violation, McCaffery was found to allegedly be impaired by alcohol.

She was issued an appearance ticket and released and will appear in City Court on July 10, 2019 at 9:00a.m.

John E. Daley, 63, of Batavia, is charged with two counts of harassment 2nd/physical contact after an altercation on Bank street on June 29, 2019.

Daley was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 9, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
