BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Man was reportedly passed out at the wheel at the drive thru

Jason L. Johnson, 36, of Highland Park, Batavia, is charged with DWI/drugs, operating a vehicle impaired by drugs, criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after police responded to 573 East Main street where Johnson was reportedly passed out at the wheel of his car at the drive thru on June 29, 2019 at 12:27a.m.

Johnson was issued traffic tickets and was transported to the hospital. He was also issued an appearance and will appear in City Court on July 17. 2019 at 9:00a.m.

Jason S. Wood, 40, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, was arrested following a domestic altercation on N. Spruce street on July 9, 2019.

Wood is charged with assault 2nd, intentionally causing serious injury, and criminal contempt 1st after violating a court order of protection by physical contact.

Wood was remanded to the jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or bond bail.

He appeared in City Court on July 11, 2019.

Sabrena L. Randall, 43, of Maple St., Batavia, was arrested on a warrant out of City Court. The warrant and charges are in regards to a shoplifting incident which occurred on December 3, 2018.

Randall was charged with petit larceny, circumventing an interlock device/operating without the device, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, unsafe backing of a vehicle and operation of a vehicle by an unlicensed driver.

Randall was arraigned in City Court on July 11, 2019 and bail was set at $250. A return court date of August 8, 2019 was set.

Wesley Thigpen, 38, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after allegedly making numerous phone calls to a person who has a full stay away order of protection against him.

He is scheduled to appear in City Court on July 16, 2019 at 1:30p.m.
