The 5th Annual Beertavia Craft Beer Festival brought together artisans and those who appreciate them.
This years event showcased upstate products and the craftsmen who created them.
Food trucks and DJ Jickster were on hand along with the Santiago Cigar Factory, based out of Rochester. They have been a vendor at the festival since it started 5 years ago.
Santiago’s Cigar Factory rolls and blends their own cigars with imported tobacco. The business was started 11 years ago with Gary Sr. and Gary Jr. and their Master Rollers.
Santiago Cigar Factory is one of six cigar companies in NYS.
“We tend to do a lot of work with the craft beer industry because the people that go to this type of event like the artesian abilities that brewers have and so we find the same thing with what we are doing. They respect the artisanship of what we do, its kind of a symbiotic relationship,” says Gary Santiago Jr.
