Junior D. Benedict, 40, of West Bay St., Englewood, FL, is charged with sex offender failing to report an address change within 10 days, a felony, and falsifying business records 1st, a felony, after an investigation on August 25, 2019.
Benedict allegedly failed to register his address change as a sex offender within 10 days to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Sex Offender Registry.
During the investigation, it was discovered that on August 23, 2019, Benedict allegedly falsified a sex offender address change form at the Genesee County Jail in the City of Batavia.
Benedict was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and held without bail.
He will appear in City Court on September 10, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Carlos D. DeJesus, 20, of Clifford Ave., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, plate display violation and operating without a license after a traffic stop on Rt. 490 in LeRoy on August 23, 2019.
DeJesus was stopped for allegedly not having a distinctive rear plate displayed on his vehicle.
During the stop it was discovered that DeJesus was operating the vehicle without a license. After criminal indicators were observed, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
DeJesus and his passenger, Angelle L. Dreier, no age or address provided, were both arrested and charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and unlawful possession of marijuana. The pair were also allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine.
Both were issued appearance tickets and will appear in LeRoy Town Court on September 12, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Kevin H. Deet, 69, of Rogers Rd., Hamburg, is charged with trespass after allegedly refusing to leave the Batavia Downs Casino after being told to leave by security and deputies.
