GENESEE COUNTY/Four arrested after search warrant executed on Pearl street in Batavia

The Genesee County Drug Task Force along with the Batavia Emergency Response Team, Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at an address on Pearl street in Batavia on August 29, 2019 at about 9:30p.m.

The following people were charged in relation to the search warrant investigation:

Edwin Peart Jr., 36, of Brookridge Dr., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, class B felony, tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, promoting prison contraband 1st, a class E felony, and obstructing governmental administration 2nd.

Peart was arraigned in City Court and held on no bail.

Marc C. Cook Sr., 29, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Cook was issued appearance tickets to appear in City Court on September 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Aamaje Z. Bell, 18, of Brooklyn St., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Bell was issued appearance tickets and is to appear in Batavia City Court on September 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Matthew C. Olcott, 40, of Woodstock Gardens, Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd.
