U.S. Senator Charles Schumer visited the Mills Family Farm on Ham road in Basom on Tuesday to discuss issues in the hemp industry.
Before speaking to the media at a press conference, Schumer spent about five minutes chatting with Oakfield- Alabama Seniors while they were on a field trip with their history class.
They discussed the hemp industry, rock bands, football, baseball, and colleges.
