GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pavilion man charged after allegedly stealing generator with child in tow

Jason L. Mckenzie, 41, of Covell Rd., Pavilion, is charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly stealing a generator from Home Depot on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on September 30, 2019.

Mckenzie, who had his daughter with him, was apprehended while allegedly attempting to sell the generator at a pawn shop.

He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on October 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Austin J. Kotarski, 20, of Evans St., Batavia, is charged with DWAI/drugs, moving from a lane unsafely and uninspected motor vehicle after a motor vehicle accident on Lewiston road in Alabama on September 14, 2019.

Kotarski was issues uniform traffic tickets and appeared in Alabama Town Court on October 2, 2019. Fingerprints and photographs were taken at the jail.

Terry M. Martino, 64, of Gibson St., Oakfield, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly shoving another person in a domestic incident on October 1, 2019 on Gibson street.

Martino was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on October 14, 2019 at 6:00p.m.

Kyle G. Harling, 25, of Bromley Rd., Churchville, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more and failure to keep right after an erratic driving complaint on Warboys road in Byron on October 1, 2019.

Harling was stopped for alleged vehicle and traffic violations and was processed at the jail and issued appearance tickets. He will appear in Byron Town Court on October 21, 2019 at 5:00p.m.
