GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Oakfield woman charged after filing false information

Megan E. Ranlett, 28, of Gibson St., Oakfield, is charged with forgery 2nd, offering a false instrument for filing 1st and petit larceny after allegedly filing false information on an application on April 12, 2019 for Social Services benefits, which she received based upon that false information.

Ranlett will appear in Batavia Town Court on November 7, 2019 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charges.

Garrett L. Strickland, 27, of Beach Dr., Medina, is charged with trespass and harassment 2nd after allegedly continuing to contact a victim several times after being advised to cease all contact with the victim.

Stickland was arrested on October 14, 2019 at 2:58a.m.

He was found on the victim’s property after allegedly being told he was no longer allowed on the property.

Strickland was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Pembroke Town Court on October 29, 2019 at 4:30p.m.
