Last month Robert E. Hopkins, 43, of Perry, pleaded guilty before the Honorable Michael M. Mohun to course of sexual conduct against a child 2nd, two counts of sexual abuse 1st, and attempted criminal sexual act 1st.
This morning in Wyoming County Court, Hopkins was sentenced to 12 years in state prison and 15 years of post release supervision in an agreed upon plea.
This case was a result of an investigation by the Warsaw Police Department and the Perry Police Department. Hopkins subjected four different females under the age of 11 to sexual contact.
Hopkins is also subjected to a complete stay away Order of Protection for the victims and their families, he will also register under the Sex Offender’s Registration Act, and waive his right to appeal.
