Mustafa A. Said, 27, of Henrietta, was arrested on Orchard Street in the Village of Silver Springs on November 14, 2019 for criminal trespass in the second degree.
NYS Police and the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Orchard Street in the Village for the report of people fighting. Said was found to be having a physical altercation with another male and the fight was stopped upon law enforcement’s arrival.
Said was then escorted from the premises and advised to not return. Shortly after, Said returned to the residence and entered via a back door and started another altercation.
Said is charged with criminal trespass 2nd and was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court. Said was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,500 bond and will answer the charge in the Village of Silver Springs at a later date.
Joanne T. Hilliker, 62, of Sayer, PA, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on November 20, 2019. Hilliker was observed by deputies to be operating a motor vehicle well above the posted speed limit which led to a traffic stop.
After a license check, her license was found to be suspended for failure to answer a summons, failure to pay fine and failure to pay driver assessment responsibility.
Hilliker’s vehicle was towed from the scene and she is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and speeding. She was arrested and taken into custody without incident. Hilliker was arraigned in the Town of Sheldon Court where she was held in lieu of $500 bail.
Hilliker is scheduled to return to Sheldon Court on January 7, 2020 for further proceedings.
Gary E. Brown, 61 of Buffalo, was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd following a traffic stop on Route 354 in the Town of Bennington on November 19, 2019.
Brown was stopped for a license plate and inspection violation and found to have a suspension on his license from 1999 for failure to pay child support.
Brown is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and uninspected motor vehicle and was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Bennington Court on Dec. 9, 2019.
