Jerrol P. Newell, 50, of E. Main St., Corfu, is charged with three counts of strangulation 2nd, unlawful imprisonment 1st, menacing 2nd/displaying weapon or dangerous instrument, and assault 3rd, after a domestic incident in Corfu on November 29, 2019.
Newell was arraigned in Pembroke Town Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
At this time the case is still under investigation and additional charges are pending.
Assisting in the investigation were members of the Corfu Police Dept., Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and the NYS Police.
