BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/East Main street man charged in domestic incident

Ernest D. Lane, 61, off East Main St., Batavia, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, aggravated family offense and criminal contempt 1st/physical contact, following a domestic incident on December 25, 2019 at 8:21p.m.

Lane allegedly prevented a person from leaving the apartment and had physical contact with the person in violation of a stay away order of protection.

Lane was arraigned in City Court on December 26, 2019 at 9:30a.m. and will re-appear at a later date.

Brittney N. Rodriguez, 31, of Washington avenue, Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after she allegedly stole fake nails from the store at 412 East Main street on December 12, 2019.

Rodriguez was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 7, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Zachary N. Knapp, 22, of East avenue, Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more, and unsafe tires, after he was located operating his vehicle with a flat tire on East avenue on December 23, 2019.

Knapp was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on January 15, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Daniel W. Mosholder, 27, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after a shoplifting incident at 412 East Main street on December 23, 2019.

Mosholder was processed on scene and released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in City Court on January 14, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
