On January 17, 2020 at 3:07 p.m., Troopers out of State Police Barracks in Warsaw, arrested Connie R. George, 60, of Bliss, NY, after a shoplifting incident.
Troopers received a 9-1-1 call from Wal-mart, at 2348 Rt. 19 in Warsaw, from a Loss Prevention Associate stating that they had caught a shoplifter. Upon arrival, George was in the custody of the Walmart Loss Prevention Manager, who said that George had been caught not paying for items she concealed in her purse.
After an investigating, it was determined that she had stolen merchandise valued at $36.44. George was transported to SP Warsaw for processing and charged with petit larceny.
She was released with an appearance ticket returnable in the town of Warsaw Court on January 27, 2020.
