BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Bergen man charged after disturbance

Thomas J. Wolcott, 35, of Buffalo St., Bergen, is charged with harassment 2nd and obstruction after a disturbance at 16 Bank street on February 8, 2020 at 7:10a.m.

Wolcott was transported to Batavia Police Headquarters where he was processed. He was arraigned in City Court before Judge Rogers and released on recognizance.

Wolcott will re-appear in court on February 11, 2020 at 1:30p.m.

John P. Cummings, 39, of Dodgeson Rd., Alexander, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, failure to use designated lane, failure to keep right on a two lane road and failure to stop at a stop sign after his vehicle was located allegedly driving erratically on Ross street on February 5, 2020 at 1:37a.m.

After following the vehicle and observing multiple traffic infractions, Officer Nicole McGinnis stopped the vehicle.

Cummings was issued multiple tickets and will appear in court on February 19, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Jacob M. Paige, 19, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after he was allegedly found to be in the presence of a protected party in an order of protection on February 4, 2020.

Paige was issued an appearance ticket and released. He will appear in City Court on February 18, 2020.
