BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/N. Lyon street man allegedly threatens to burn down a house and kill someone

John M. Taggert, 38, of N. Lyon St. Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after a domestic incident where he allegedly threatened to kill someone and burn down a house on February 28, 2020.

Taggert was processed and transported to the jail and held for arraignment in City Court. He was arraigned on February 29, 2020 and released on recognizance and appeared in City Court today at 1:00p.m.

Tammy L. Truax, 55, of Leicester, NY, was arrested on a City Court arrest warrant on February 28, 2020, after being located by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Truax was charged with assault 3rd in an incident on Woodrow road on December 10, 2019.

She was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance. Truax will appear in City Court at a later date.

Kevin M. McCoy, 53, homeless, of Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd following a complaint on East Main street on February 28, 2020.

McCoy was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 10, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
