BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Man found driving a stolen vehicle, three students charged after a fight at the high school

Robert A. Bell Jr., 41, of Plymouth Rock Rd., Albuquerque, NM, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 3rd, operation without an inspection certificate and unlicensed operator after a traffic stop at 587 East Main street on March 13, 2020.

Bell was allegedly identified as the operator of a vehicle that had been stolen out of Depew.

He was arraigned in City Court and released.

Bell was then turned over to the Depew Police Department for additional charges.

He will re-appear in City Court at a later date.

Christopher Lopez-Torres, 18, of Ellicott St., Batavia, Irelyn Curry, no age or address provided, and a 17 year old female, were arrested for disorderly conduct after fighting during lunch in the cafeteria at Batavia High School on March 5, 2020.

All three subjects were issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on March 24, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Shawn P. Wilbur, 22, no permanent address, is charged with criminal impersonation 2nd, harassment 2nd and criminal mischief 3rd, following a domestic incident on West Main street on March 15, 2020 at 1:36a.m.

Wilbur was arraigned in City court and released on recognizance.

He will appear in City Court on March 18, 2020 at 12:30p.m.

Steven M. Lindner, 47, of W. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant out of City Court, for petit larceny after he was located during a traffic stop on State street road.

He is scheduled to appear in City Court on March 19, 2020 at 9:00a.m.
