Daniel R. Smythe, 32, of Caledonia, was arrested following a shoplifting complaint at the Walmart Store in the Town of Warsaw on April 30, 2020.
Smythe was apprehended by store employees after allegedly concealing $78.44 worth of merchandise and walking out of the store.
Smythe was arrested by Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies and transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with petit larceny and was issued a uniform appearance ticket. Smyth is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.
