State Police have released the name of the victim in a Saturday afternoon drowning on Broadway road in Darien.
Trooper James O’Callaghan says 77 year old David Scott, of Darien, was going out to set up a pump in a retention pond and was later found partially submerged into the water.
The Darien fire department and EMS were called to the scene about 12:27p.m. on May 2, 2020, and attempted life-saving measures with negative results.
