BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/N. Spruce street man facing felony assault charge after domestic incident

Jeffery M. Johnson, 32, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with assault 2nd, a class D felony, menacing 2nd/weapon, strangulation 2nd/obstruction of breathing/cause physical injury, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, previous conviction, and endangering the welfare of a child, after a domestic incident that occurred on April 29, 2020.

Johnson was arraigned in City Court via Skype on April 30, 2020. He is being held at the Genesee County Jail on $10,000 A, $20,000 B, and $30,000 E.

He is scheduled to appear in court on June 4, 2020 at 11:00a.m.

Rajea S. Thomas, 31, of Averill Ave., Rochester, is charged with criminal contempt 1st, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief 4th after a domestic incident on April 30, 2020.

Thomas was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 16, 2020 at 1:30p.m.

Marshawn J. Singletary, 38, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with reckless endangerment 2nd following an incident on March 24, 2020.

Singletary allegedly dragged a female with his car while backing out of her driveway.

Singletary was arraigned and then released on recognizance.

He will appear in City Court on June 10, 2020 at 9:30a.m.

James J. Sears, 51, of Trumbull Pky., Batavia, is charged with DWI, previous conviction, refusal to submit to a breath test, failure to keep right and moving from a lane unsafely, after a property damage accident on Prospect Avenue on May 1, 2020 at 10:07p.m.

Sears allegedly struck a parked car and was allegedly intoxicated.

He was arraigned in City Court and will re-appear on June 3, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Amanda S. Dombrowski, 34, of Versailles Rd., North Evans, NY, is charged with menacing 3rd and endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation into a domestic incident on May 2, 2020 in the City of Batavia.

Dombrowski was arraigned in City Court and released on her own recognizance.

She is scheduled to re-appear in City Court on June 18, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Niasia S. Jiggetts, 28, of Thomas Ave., Batavia, is charged with two counts of criminal contempt after an incident at a Batavia residence on April 30, 2020.

Jiggetts was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 16, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Amanda S. McDonald, 37, of Ellsworth Ave., Batavia, is charged with unnecessary noise following a BMC violation complaint on April 26, 2020 at 12:33a.m.

McDonald was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 16, 2020 at 1:00p.m,.
