BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Walnut street man charged during domestic incident, accused of intentionally coughing on officers after stating he was quarantined

Tyshon L. Taylor, 23, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with aggravated family offense, criminal mischief 3rd, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing 3rd after a domestic incident on Walnut street on May 14, 2020.

Taylor allegedly cracked the windshield of his girlfriend’s vehicle during an argument while her child was in the vehicle. While being taken into custody, Taylor told police he had been quarantined and then began to intentionally coughing at officers.

Taylor was processed at the Batavia Police Department, then arraigned in City Court via Skype.

He was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Taylor was held at the Genesee County Jail on a Parole Detainer Warrant.

Officers Girvin and Rissinger were also assisted in the investigation by Officers Post and Roberts.

Kelli E. Wallace, 57, of Swan St., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation into an altercation between two people under the age of 17.

Wallace allegedly was present for and encouraged the physical altercation to occur.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in City Court on June 23, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Stephen V. Recco, 29, of Vine St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th/intentionally damaging property, after allegedly smashing a laptop belonging to his roommate after a dispute on March 28, 2020.

Recco was issued and appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on June 9, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Jason A. McFollins, 42, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief and harassment 2nd after a domestic incident on May 17, 2020.

McFollins allegedly damaged property and struck another person. He was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance.

McFollins is due back in court on June 25, 2020.

Kaitlyn M. Rector, 22, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after a domestic incident on May 16, 2020.

Rector allegedly struck another person.

She was arraigned in City Court and is scheduled to appear in City Court on July 1, 2020 at 12:30p.m.

Tina M. Caracci, 49, of Hilltop Rd., Rochester, is charged with DWI and aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more, following a complaint from a local employee at 220 Richmond avenue on May 12, 2020.

Caracci was processed and released.

She is scheduled to appear in City Court on June 3, 2020 at 9:00a.m.

Rae C. Cook, 31, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny following a larceny investigation at 45 Ellicott street on April 23, 2020.

Cook was issued an appearance ticket and released. Cook will appear in City Court on June 2, 2020 at 1:00p.m.

Matthew C. Olcott, 41, of Clinton St. Rd., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant from January 23, 2020, following a traffic stop conducted by the NYS Police, assisted by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.

Olcott was arraigned in Alabama Town Court and will appear in City Court on June 23, 2020
