WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia pair facing drug charges in traffic stop in Warsaw

On June 7, 2020 at approximately 11:12p.m., a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw after observing vehicle and traffic violations.

Upon speaking with the operator of the vehicle, Kevin Jackson Jr., 30, of Batavia, deputies began to observe signs consistent with drug impairment.

A roadside DWAI investigation was conducted, which included the performance of field sobriety testing. Jackson performed poorly on the testing and was subsequently arrested for DWAI/drugs.

Jackson refused to submit to a chemical test and additional Drug Influence Evaluation following the arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, as well as packaging material and drug paraphernalia.

Jackson was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd/ stimulant with intent to sell, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd Degree (2 counts), DWAI/drugs, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Also arrested as a result of the traffic stop was a female passenger, Brianna Green, 23, of Batavia .

Green is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd/ stimulant with intent to sell, criminal possession of a weapon 4th, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd (2 counts).

Jackson was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court and released on his own recognizance. Both subjects are scheduled to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Andreus N. Johnson, 21, of Buffalo, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 19 at Martinville Road in the Town of Warsaw on June 11, 2020.

Johnson was stopped for a speeding infraction which occurred on South Main Street in the Village of Warsaw.

Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies detected the odor of burned marijuana. A search of the vehicle yielded the recovery of marijuana and multiple partially burned marijuana cigars.

Additional to one adult passenger, Johnson was found to have a one year old child and six year old child in his vehicle. The six year old was also not in a required booster seat.

Following field sobriety testing, Johnson was arrested for DWAI/drugs. Johnson was transported to the Arcade Police Department where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. Following the evaluation Johnson was determined to be impaired by drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Johnson is charged with:

Aggravated DWI – Child in Vehicle (2 counts, class E felony)

Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs

Unlawful Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree

Speed in Zone

Back Seat Passenger Improper Restraint Age 4-7

Johnson was released on appearance tickets and scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Justice C. Coniglio. 30, of Buffalo NY, was arrested on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw, following a vehicle and traffic stop June 11, 2020.

Coniglio is charged with speeding; rear seat passenger not properly restrained and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree.

Coniglio had 7 suspensions on his New York State Driver’s License.

It was also learned through investigation that Coniglio had a stay away order of protection from a female passenger within the vehicle he was operating. He is also charged with criminal contempt in the second degree.

Coniglio was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court on June 29, 2020 for initial arraignment.
