WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pike woman charged in domestic incident

On July 2, 2020, deputies from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office along with the New York State Police, were dispatched to a residence on Wolfe Road in the Town of Pike, for the report of a domestic incident between a male and female with property damage being reported.

Deputies and troopers arrived on scene and observed heavy damage to a garage door that was attached to the residence and damage to a truck windshield.

After interviews were conducted, Anne Akin, 38, of Pike, was arrested for criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, an E felony.

Akin was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing. She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Pike Court at a later date.

On June 27, 2020, following a traffic stop on Route 19 in the Town of Covington, Joanmarilis Claudio, 30, of Rochester, was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana in the 2nd degree and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway.

Claudio was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Covington Court at a later date.
