GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/West Main street man charged after allegedly threatening to harm a person based on race, color and nationality

James W. Cason, 54, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with aggravated harassment 2nd after an investigation on West Main street on July 24, 2020 at 11:42a.m.

Cason allegedly threatened to harm a person because of a belief regarding their race, color and nationality.

Cason was arraigned on July 29, 2020 at noon and orders of protection were issued for the victim.

He was released and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court at a later date.

Heidi N. Pitcher, 27, of Parkedge St., Rochester, is charged with reckless endangerment 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child after a domestic incident in Stafford on July 28, 2020 at 7:19a.m.

Pitcher allegedly recklessly operated her motor vehicle in a manner that created a risk of serious physical injury to another person in the presence of children.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Stafford Town Court on August 13, 2020 at 6:00p.m.
