BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Maple street man held without bail after incident on Highland Park

David P. Grossman Sr., 37, of Maple St., Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd, criminal mischief 3rd and 4th, endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration 2nd, after an incident on Highland Park on August 4, 2020 at 2:48a.m.

Grossman allegedly broke into a house and threatened the resident and damaged property. After being arrested, Grossman allegedly kicked and damaged a patrol car.

He was arraigned in City Court by Judge Saleh and was held without bail. Grossman will appear in Genesee Count Court at a later date.

Previously, on August 3, 2020, Grossman was charged with harassment 2nd after he allegedly struck two different male subjects during an altercation on Maple street.

Grossman was arraigned in City Court for this incident and released by Judge Saleh. He will appear in City Court on the harassment charge on August 19, 2020

On July 31, 2020, Batavia Police responded to a residence on Hutchins place and arrested Robin S. Brooks, 58, of Hutchins Pl., Batavia, for allegedly kicking a door shut on a female subject’s hand, causing serious physical injury on July 17, 2020.

Brooks is charged with assault 2nd and assault 3rd in the incident. He was arraigned in City Court by Judge Saleh and jailed on $2,500a, $10,000b.

Isaac J. Floyd Jr., 56, of State St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, menacing 2nd and obstructing governmental administration 2nd, following an investigation of a disturbance on State street on July 26, 2020.

Floyd was arraigned in City Court by Judge Rogers and is being held at the Genesee County Jail . He is scheduled to re-appear in court on August 27, 2020.

William J. Hixenbaugh, 30, of School St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th and criminal contempt 2nd following an investigation of a domestic incident on School street on July 29, 2020.

Hixenbaugh allegedly damaged property belonging to another person.

He was released with an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on November 3, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
