GENESEE COUNTY/INDICTMENTS/Man accused of attempting to strike a deputy with his vehicle, then fleeing the scene at high speed

Elon A. Seeger has been indicted for the crime of attempted assault in the second degree, a class E felony. On Dec. 15, 2019 in the Town of Bergen, Seeger allegedly caused physical injury to another person. He is accused of attempting to strike a deputy with his motor vehicle.

In count two, Seeger is accused of the crime of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. On the above mentioned date, Seeger intentionally obstructed, impaired or perverted the administration of law or other government function, or prevented or attempted to prevent a public servant from performing an official duty by means of intimidation, physical force or interference or by means of any independently unlawful act. Seeger ignored multiple police commands to turn off his vehicle and, instead, turned it toward the deputy, almost striking him. He then fled the area at a high rate of speed.

In count three, Seeger is accused of unlawful fleeing a police officer in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor. On the above mentioned date, Seeger had been directed to stop his vehicle by a uniformed police officer by the activation of either the lights or lights and sirens, but did attempt to flee at speeds of 25 mph or more.

In count four, Seeger is accused grand larceny fourth degree, a class E felony, for allegedly stealing property, a debit card, on the above mentioned date.

Ronald P. Dixon Jr. has been indicted for the crime of driving while intoxicated, as a misdemeanor. On Dec. 20, 2019, in the City of Batavia, Dixon was operating a 2008 Kia on East Avenue while allegedly in an intoxicated condition.

In count two, Dixon is accused of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a class E felony. Dixon allegedly was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or a drug while having three or more suspensions on at least three dates, Nov. 21, 2015, July 7 and July 22, 2016 and Aug. 18, 2017. All three were for failure to answer, appear or pay a fine.

In count three, Dixon is accused of harassment second degree. On Dec. 20, 2019, in the City of Batavia, Dixon allegedly harassed, annoyed or alarmed another person, and subjected a person to physical contact.

In count four, he is accused of harassment second degree after allegedly harassing, annoying or alarming a second person, subjecting them to physical contact on the above mentioned date.

In count five, Dixon is accused attempted assault first degree, a class C violent felony. Dixon is accused of intending to cause serious physical injury to another person, he attempted to cause injury by means of a dangerous instrument, a motor vehicle.

Stormy M. Watts has been indicted for the crime of criminal possession of stolen property fourth degree, a class E felony. On Dec. 22, 2019, while at Walmart on Veteran’s Memorial Drive in the Town of Batavia, Watts knowingly possessed stolen property consisting of a Capital One Wal-Mart credit card in the name of another person.

In count two, Watts is accused of attempted petit larceny, a class B misdemeanor, for allegedly attempting to steal property from another person valued at $27.72 on December 22, 2019.
