Austin Bollinger, 26, of Gainesville, was arrested for rape 1st degree on August 20, 2020. He is accused of having sexual intercourse with a child less than 13 years of age in 2015.
This charge resulted from an investigation that began in April of 2020 after Bollinger was arrested and charged with rape 2nd and criminal sex act 2nd. The charges in April were for offenses committed against a different victim, who was under the age of 15.
Bollinger was arraigned on the rape 1st charge, and the case was sent to Wyoming County Court. At County Court, Bollinger waived indictment on both cases, plead not guilty, and he is currently free on bail.
He is to appear back in Wyoming County Court at a later date.
