WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF REPORT/Warsaw man charged following traffic stop

Dennis J. Woodworth, Jr., 21, of Warsaw, was arrested following a traffic stop on Wyoming Street in the Village of Warsaw on August 30, 2020.

Woodworth was the driver of a vehicle stopped for multiple traffic infractions, and during the traffic stop Woodworth was found to allegedly be in possession of marijuana and concentrated cannabis.

Woodworth was further found to be driving without a driver’s license.

Woodworth showed signs of drug impairment, and following field sobriety testing, Woodworth was arrested for DWAI Drugs. He was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where a drug influence evaluation was conducted by a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Drug Recognition Expert.

Woodworth was found to be impaired by multiple categories of drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely. He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd, DWAI/drugs, DWAI/Combined Influence of Drugs, unlicensed operation, unsafe turn without signal and illegal window tint.

Woodworth was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in the Village of Warsaw Court on September 21, 2020. He was then released to a sober third party.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Amanda E. Dalrymple, 29, Warsaw, NY, following a shoplifting complaint at the Warsaw Wal-Mart Store on August 28, 2020.

Dalrymple was alleged to have entered the store, concealed multiple health and body items into her backpack, and then left the store without paying for the items.

The total value of stolen items was $36.38.

Dalrymple was interviewed at her residence where some of the stolen property was recovered. Dalrymple was arrested and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree.

Dalrymple was released on an appearance ticket with a court date of August 31, 2020.
