WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Bronx man charged during traffic stop in Sheldon

Keanu P. Williams, 20, of Bronx, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon on November 18, 2020.

Williams was stopped for following too closely, and during the stop, he was found to allegedly have a suspended NYS Learner’s Permit with two active suspensions for failure to answer a summons.

Williams was also found to allegedly be operating with switched license plates.

Williams is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, following too closely, unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, switched plates, and uninspected motor vehicle.

Williams was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges on November 30, 2020 in the Town of Sheldon Court.

Caleb W. Lewis, 21, of Buffalo, NY, was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana along with multiple traffic citations after a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on November 17, 2020.

Lewis was observed traveling westbound on Route 20A through Perry Center at a high rate of speed and passing other motorists unsafely in no passing zones.

Lewis continued traveling in excess of 80MPH and passing unsafely into the Town of Warsaw until he was stopped by a deputy.

Lewis was also allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and marijuana smoking paraphernalia.

Lewis is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, along with multiple citations for the townships of Warsaw and Perry.

He was released with an appearance ticket and will answer to the charges at a later date.
