BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Bank street man accused of stabbing a person during a domestic incident

Brodes J. Gibson, 59, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with assault 2nd and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd after a domestic incident that occurred in the City of Batavia on October 20, 2020 at 3:00p.m.

Gibson allegedly stabbed another person with a knife.

Gibson was arrested on December 18, 2020 in an unrelated incident by Medina Police, and turned over to Batavia Police on an arrest warrant.

He was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. He re-appeared in court on December 23, 2020.

Christopher A. Sewar, 34, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd and criminal contempt 2nd following an incident on Maple street where he allegedly violated a court order and allegedly burglarized a house on December 19, 2020.

Sewar was arraigned in City Court by Judge Rogers and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

He is due back in court on January 25, 2021 at 11:00a.m.

Jason W. Wolf, 44, of Maple St., Batavia, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, unlicensed operator, refusal to take a breath test, consumption of alcohol in a vehicle and insufficient turn signal, following a complaint of an intoxicated driver on East Main street on December 19, 2020 at 8:30p.m.

Wolf’s vehicle was located and a vehicle and traffic law violation was observed.

Wolf was arraigned in City Court by Judge Nanni and held at the Genesee County Jail. He re-appeared in court on December 23, 2020.
