BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/State street man charged with unlawfully selling fireworks and possessing a metal knuckle knife

Micheal S. Lytle, 31, of State St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, previous conviction, and unlawfully selling fireworks with a value of $500 or more, after an investigation by the Genesee County Probation Department and Batavia Police on December 21, 2020.

Lytle was allegedly in possession of an illegal metal knuckle knife and over $500 worth of illegal fireworks.

He was arraigned virtually by City Court at the Genesee County Jail and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Lytle will re-appear in court on February 18, 2021 at 10:00a.m.

Dylan S. Pehrson, 18, of Franklin St., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th, criminal mischief 2nd, grand larceny 4th and robbery 3rd, following a domestic incident where he allegedly forcibly took items from the victim and broke property in the residence on December 20, 2020.

Pehrson was arraigned by City Court Judge Nanni and released on recognizance. He will return to court on February 18, 2021.

Taylor M. Peyman, 29, of Ellicott St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and unsafe backing, after an investigation into a a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the area of Jackson Square at 15 Jackson street on December 19, 2020 at 8:20p.m.

Peyman was released on appearance tickets and Uniform traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on March 3, 2021 at 9:00a.m.

Cassandra M. D’arconte, 22, of North St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd and criminal contempt 1st, following an investigation into a domestic incident where D’arconte allegedly violated an order of protection that was issued on December 23, 2020.

D’arconte was arraigned in City Court by Judge Nanni and was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. She will return to court on February 18, 2021.

Richard J. Burdick, 42, of Central Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny, after allegedly stealing a shopping cart full of various items from Tops Supermarket at 390 West Main street on December 26, 2020 at 10:29a.m.

Burdick was processed on scene and released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in court on February 16, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Casey T. Vaughn, 31, of Prune St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny, following an investigation into a larceny that occurred on December 20, 2020 at 561 East Main street at the Mobil Gas station .

Vaughn allegedly stole products from the store.

Vaughn was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 23, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Robert C. Strollo, 60, of Bethany Center Rd., East Bethany, was arrested on a bench warrant on December 29, 2020, for a petit larceny that occurred on January 22, 2020 at 577 East Main street.

Strollo turned himself in to police.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in court on February 21, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Morgan E. Rector, 21, of Pickthorn Dr., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th, following an investigation into a domestic incident where Rector allegedly damaged property on December 27, 2020 at 2:53pm

Rector was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in court on February 23, 2021 at 1:00p.m.
