Nicholas B. Turnquist, 35, of Reading Rd., West Falls, NY, has been indicted by a Genesee County Grand Jury, and is accused of rape 3rd degree, a class E felony and sexual abuse 1st degree, a class D violent felony, after an incident in the Town of Darien on August 23, 2014.
Turnquist allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with another person less than 17 years old and allegedly subjected them to sexual contact by forcible compulsion.
Turnquist was arrested after a multi-county investigation into a series of sex offenses that occurred at various locations in Genesee, Wyoming and Erie Counties. He was arrested following the execution of a search warrant with the assistance from the East Aurora Police Department and FBI at 1814 Reading Road, Town of Aurora in Erie County, on April 1, 2020.
Turnquist is charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and rape 2nd in Wyoming County where is currently being held without bail.
