GENESEE COUNTY/Batavia man indicted in Valentines day domestic incident

Cody A. Bush, 35, of Batavia, has been indicted by a Genesee County Grand Jury and is accused of assault 3rd, a class A misdemeanor, after a February 14, 2021 domestic incident at a residence in the City of Batavia. Bush allegedly cause physical injury to another person.

In Count 2, Bush is accused of criminal mischief 4th, a class A misdemeanor, after intentionally damaging a bedroom door on February 14, 2021.

In Count 3, he is accused of criminal mischief 4th, a class A misdemeanor, after damaging another person’s cell phone on February 14, 2021.

In Count 4, Bush stole a cell phone from another person on February 14, 2021 and is accused of grand larceny 4th, a class E felony.

In Count 5, Bush is accused of criminal mischief 4th, a class A misdemeanor, after damaging an entryway door on February 14, 2021.

In Count 6, he is accused of burglary 1st degree, a class B felony, after knowingly entering or remaining unlawfully in a dwelling in the City of Batavia on February 14, 2021, with intent to commit a crime while in the dwelling, and causing physical injury to a person who was not a participant in the crime.

In Count 7, Bush is accused of assault 3rd, a class A misdemeanor, after causing physical injury to a second person in the residence on February 14, 2021.
