GENESEE COUNTY/Pair indicted in burglary at business in LeRoy

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted a Rochester pair in a “smash and grab” incident that occurred at the Kwik Fill gas station in LeRoy at 7010 West Main street on September 16, 2020.

A little after 2:00a.m., the pair attempted to gain entry at the Kwik Fill by throwing two large rocks through the front glass door.

Jennifer D. Abrams, 29, and Tarus O. Fluitt, 47, both of Rochester, are accused of burglary 3rd, a class D felony, after knowingly and unlawfully entering into a building at 7010 West Main street road in the Town of LeRoy on September 16, 2020, and intending to commit a crime therein.

In Count 2, the pair is accused of criminal mischief 3rd, a class E felony, after damaging a front glass door in an amount exceeding $250 during the September 16, 2020 incident.

In Count 3, Abrams and Fluitt are accused of the crime of conspiracy 5th, a class A misdemeanor, after each agreed to engage in conduct constituting a felony.
