GENESEE COUNTY/Pembroke woman charged with 26 counts of torturing or injuring animals and child endangerment after an investigation

Lori A. Adolf, 47, of Akron Rd., Pembroke, is charged with 26 counts of torturing or injuring animals/failure to provide sustenance and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, after an investigation at 1071 Akron road in the Town of Pembroke on January 22, 2021.

The investigation revealed that there were 13 dogs in cages, covered in feces, urine, underweight, surrounded by garbage and in need of medical treatment.

There were also 10 deceased rabbits and 1 deceased dog located inside of the residence.

13 dogs and 2 cats were removed from the residence and transported to the Genesee County Animal Shelter where they have been receiving care and medical attention.

Adolf was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Pembroke Court on March 31, 2021 at 1:00p.m.
