WYOMING COUNTY/Stop DWI Checkpoint arrests

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office alongside the New York State Police and Arcade Police Department participated in a STOP DWI Memorial Day Enforcement Campaign. The enforcement period ran from May 28th – June 1st. This event was funded by a grant from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, and is part of a national STOP DWI enforcement effort. The following results are from a checkpoint conducted on State Route 98 in the Town and Village of Arcade on May 28th.

The following arrests were made:

New York State Police

Robert A. Evans, 63, of Decorah, Iowa, is charged with DWI and operating with a .08% or more BAC. He was issued uniform traffic tickets and released. Evans is to appear in Arcade Court on a later date.

Arcade Police Department

David J. Gasner, 29, of Buffalo, NY, is charged with DWAI/drugs, DWAI/Combo/drugs/alcohol, and consumption of alcohol within motor vehicle.

Destiny K. Guthrie, 20, of Buffalo, NY, is charged with DWAI/drugs and consumption of alcohol within a motor vehicle.

Dahlia J. Klink, 22, of Freedom, NY, is charged with operating with a suspended registration.

The above were issued uniform traffic tickets and released to appear in Arcade Village Court at a later date.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office

Christina M. Reed, 36, of Black Creek, NY, is charged with felony DWAI/drugs, felony aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, unlicensed operator, and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Reed was arraigned in Warsaw Court and her license was again suspended. She was released on recognizance and is to appear in Wyoming County Court in June.

Scott M. Leederman, 49, of Rice, Texas, is charged with DWAI/drugs. He was issued a uniform traffic tickets and released. Leederman is to appear in Arcade Town Court in June.
