WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Three arrested in traffic stop in Middlebury

Three Wyoming, NY residents were arrested following a traffic stop on East Bethany Road in the Town of Middlebury on June 12, 2021.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop of a black 2014 Chrysler 300 on East Bethany Road for having no front plate. The vehicle initially pulled over, but then pulled back out and drove away southbound. The vehicle drove to a residential driveway on East Bethany Road where it turned left into the driveway. Deputies approached the vehicle and observed indicators of criminal activity.

The driver, Tammy M. Ace, 46, was found to have a suspended driver’s license, and was taken into custody. Passengers inside the vehicle were identified as Nicholas A. Pietrzykowski, 44, and Andrea L. Manley, age 50.

A search of the vehicle revealed suspected heroin, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia recovered from within the vehicle. All three occupants were arrested pursuant to the traffic stop, and charges were filed as follows:

Tammy M. Ace : Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (2 counts), Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, No Front Plate, Failure to Comply With Lawful Order, and Failure To Yield Right-Of-Way to Emergency Vehicle

Andrea L. Manley : Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree

Ace, Pietrzykowski, and Manley were all issued appearance tickets to answer the charges in the Town of Middlebury Court on June 21, 2021.

On June 13, 2021 at approximately 10:48 p.m., a Deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle parked on the eastbound shoulder of Route 20A near Suckerbrook Road in the Town of Perry.

The vehicle was parked near the crest of a hill, near the driving lane. A Deputy approached the vehicle and observed a male operator, identified as William Molson, 55, of Aberdeen, Maryland, asleep at the wheel. The Deputy was able to wake Molson and then observe signs of possible impairment.

A roadside DWI investigation was conducted, including the performance of field sobriety testing. At the conclusion of the investigation, Molson was placed under arrest for DWAI/drugs.

While being placed in handcuffs, Molson was non-compliant and did physically resist arrest.

No injuries were suffered by Molson or the arresting deputies on scene. He was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, where he submitted to a drug influence evaluation conducted by a certified Drug Recognition Expert. Following the evaluation, Molson was found to be impaired by drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely.

Molson is charged with DWAI/ drugs, parking on highway, and resisting arrest. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Perry Court at a later date.
