Genesee County ABATE raised funds for Genesee Justice and Genesee Literacy during the 100 mile Joe Furst Jr. Memorial Run on Saturday.
The group changed things up a bit this year, driving through St. Joseph’s Cemetery and past Joe’s grave near Buell street in Batavia. About 100 motorcycles participated in the run, which included several stops in Wyoming and Genesee County. Each bike donated $20 and there were raffles along with 50/50 drawings during the day long event which started at Stan’s Harley Davidson about 11:00am.
