GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester woman charged after receiving SNAP benefits she was not eligible for

Kristin R. Forte, 33, of Alandale Ave., Rochester, is charged with one count of grand larceny 3rd, eight counts of offering a false instrument for filing 1st and five counts of forgery 2nd, after allegedly submitting applications/recertifications for SNAP benefits, omitting the wages she earned while working.

Forte also forged several documents and signatures on forms used to assist in determining a client’s eligibility for public assistance programs that she submitted to the Genesee County Department of Social Services.

As a result, Forte received $3,767.00 in SNAP benefits she was not eligible for.

Forte was arrested on July 27, 2021 and arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released on recognizance.

The investigation was completed by Social Services Investigator Robert Riggi.

Dandre B. Browning, 27, of Stevens Ave., Buffalo, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and speeding, exceeding 55mph, after a traffic stop on Pearl street on July 25, 2021 at 12:25am.

Browning was released on appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 12, 2021 at 1:00p.m.


Andrea E. Tucker, 23, of Payne Ave., Tonawanda, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly making threats to hit another person at 9993 Alleghany road, in Darien, Six Flags Darien Lake, on July 27, 2021 at 5:11p.m.

Tucker was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on August 17, 2021 at 4:00p.m.
