A Wyoming County Jail inmate is charged after punching a Wyoming County Jail Corrections Officer in the face on Tuesday evening July 27, 2021.
Dillen J. Powell, 21, is charged with assault in the second degree and was arraigned before Warsaw Justice Fusani. Powell was committed back to jail on $25,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Warsaw Court at a later date.
The Corrections Officer was treated and released at the Wyoming County Community Hospital and has returned to duty
