Hannah L. Varshay, 24, of Cayuga Creek Rd., Alden, is charged with evidence tampering, criminal possession of a weapon, eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, moving from a lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent, following the investigation in to a single car accident at 1125 County Line road in Darien on March 1, 2021 at 5:36am.
Varshay was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while allegedly under the influence of drugs. Varshay was also alleged to be in possession of controlled substances as well as a semi-automatic handgun.
Varshay was arrested on July 31, 2021 and released on appearance tickets and will appear in Darien Town Court on August 24, 2021 at 4:00p.m.
Jay D.L. Schutt, 33, of S. Pearl St., Oakfield, is charged with harassment 2nd after allegedly attempting to tackle and fight with the victim on the ground during an altercation on S. Pearl street in Oakfield on July 31, 2021 at 11:30p.m.
Schutt was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on August 2, 2021 at 5:00p.m.
