GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pair from Rochester jailed after selling “grey death” and cocaine in Batavia

The Genesee County Local Drug Task Force arrested tow Rochester residents on Monday morning August 16, 2021, after an investigation into the transportation and possession of crack cocaine, fentanyl(grey death) and powder cocaine in an around the the City of Batavia.

Germayne D. Session, aka, “Case”, 27, of Carl street, Rochester, is charged with 6 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, 3 counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, and 2 counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor.

Sylvia Perez, 60, of Carl street, Rochester, is charged with 4 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony, and 2 counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor.

Drug Task Force members conducted controlled purchases of suspected narcotics from Session and Perez. As a result, a search warrant was executed on August 16, 2021.

Session and Perez were found to be in possession of a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine, a large quantity of suspected powder cocaine and a large quantity of suspected fentanyl(grey death), Suboxone, amphetamine/dextroamphetamine, a digital scale and narcotic packaging material.

Additionally, Perez was found to be in possession of a stun gun.

Both Session and Perez were arraigned in City Court by Judge Burns, bail was set at $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond for Sessions. Perez was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Session will reappear in court on August 19, 2021 at 1:30p.m. and Perez will reappear on September 2, 2021 at 1:30p.m.

Session is also being held at the Genesee county Jail on a Parole violation warrant.

Task Force members were assisted by Batavia Police Officers, Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies, NYS Parole, and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.

John K. Hobbs, 33, of Clinton St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with menacing 3rd after a domestic incident in Batavia on August 13, 202.

Hobbs allegedly threatened a female and put her in fear of physical injury.

Hobbs was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to reappear in court on September 21, 2021 at 2:00p.m.
