WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/September 14, 2021

Three individuals from Olean were arrested following a larceny complaint at the Warsaw Wal-Mart on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw on September 13, 2021.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 19 as the suspect vehicle was fleeing from the store. During the traffic stop, three individuals were located inside the vehicle with $286.32 worth of stolen merchandise, along with alleged drug paraphernalia, and several packages with alleged heroin inside of them. The driver also gave a false name to police, and after her true identity was discovered she was found to have a revoked NYS driver’s license with three active warrants out for her arrest.

The charges are as follows:

Renee L. Mighells, 33, of Olean, NY:

Petit Larceny, Possession of Burglar Tools, Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, and Operating in Violation of Ignition Interlock Restriction.

Mighells was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court where she was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash, $10,000.00 bond, or $15,000.00 partially secured bond. Mighells is scheduled to return to Warsaw Town Court on October 4, 2021 for further court proceedings.

Jacinda J. Terwilliger, 22, of Olean, NY:

Petit Larceny and No Seatbelt. Terwilliger was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in Warsaw Town Court on September 27, 2021.

Christopher R. Rowand, 41, of Olean, NY:

Petit Larceny and No Seatbelt. Rowand was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in Warsaw Town Court on September 27, 2021.

Diane I. Murphy, 62, of Eure, North Carolina, was arrested following a larceny complaint on Route 19 in the Town of Middlebury on September 7, 2021. Murphy was alleged to have gone to a local honey stand, taking $30.00 worth of honey, and paying only $8.00 for the product.

Murphy was located and arrested on September 11, 2021 at a residence in the Village of Warsaw. She was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where she was issued an appearance ticket for the charge of Petit Larceny. Murphy was scheduled to answer the charge in Middlebury Town Court on September 27, 2021.
