GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/September 20, 2021

Alex S. Dumbleton, 28, of E. Main St., Batavia, is charged with attempted assault 2nd after a physical altercation with Correctional Officers at the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main street on August 30, 2021 at 4:09p.m.

Dumbleton allegedly attempted to strike the officers by kicking them.

Dumbleton was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court on September 29, 2021 at 9:00a.m.

Kelly G. McCoy, 27, of Rochester, is charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs/first offense, and failure to keep right on a two lane road after a traffic stop for a vehicle and traffic law violation on Rt. 33 in Batavia on September 19, 2021 at 1:23a.m.

McCoy was allegedly found to be operating a motor vehicle while allegedly impaired by drugs.

He was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released with appearance tickets.

McCoy will appear in Batavia Town Court on October 7, 2021 at 1:00p.m.


Amanda L. Huber, 39, of Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after a shoplifting complaint at a local retail store on Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Batavia on September 17, 2021 at 8:21p.m.

Huber allegedly swapped price tags on expensive items to pay less for them.

Huber was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on October 19, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Joshua L. Webster, 34, of W. Main St., LeRoy, is charged with harassment 2nd following an investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Batavia on August 27, 2021.

Webster allegedly had physical contact with the victim.

He was arraigned in Batavia Town Court on August 27, 2021 in front of Judge Funke and released on his own recognizance. Webster is due back in Batavia Town Court on September 21, 2021 at 4:00p.m.


Cole R. Booth, 31, of Blasdell, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 2nd and petit larceny, following an investigation into an incident that occurred at Darien Lake at 9993 Alleghany road in Darien on August 14, 2021 at 10:45p.m.

Booth allegedly damaged a vehicle and stole the license plates.

He was arraigned in Darien Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Booth is schedules to re-appear in Darien Town Court on September 30, 2021 at 4:00p.m.
