The Batavia Blue Devils have only had 8 points scored against them in the first four games of the season.

They have not scored less than 40 points in a game.

On Friday evening during homecoming at Van Detta Stadium, the team outscored their opponent Palmyra-Macedon 55-0.

The explosive Blue Devils came out of the gate at full throttle as they have in each of their games this season. Quarterback Jesse Reinhart found Vincent Arroyo in the red zone with a 49 yard pass play, Arroyo powered his way into the endzone, dragging the defender with him to make it 6-0 in Batavia’s first series.

With the help of the defense and Aiden Anderson’s sack of quarterback Ayden Lonneville-Lent, the Blue Devils quickly got their second series going with Reinhart calling his own number and running it in for the second Batavia touchdown of the game to make it 12-0.

To finish out the the half Reinhart found Javin McFollins on a pass play to the endzone to make the score 19-0.

The Blue Devils continued to rack up the points in the 2nd quarter, with Jamison Richardson finding his way to make it 26-0 and Javin McFollins catching a 40 yard pass from Reinhart to make it 33-0. The score at the half was 34-0.

Next week the Batavia Blue Devils will travel to Dansville/Wayland-Cohocton who are 2-1 on the season and will play Bishop Kearney/Rochester Prep/Rochester Academy Charter tomorrow.
