An Arcade woman is facing charges after she allegedly filed false documents with the Department of Social Services on September 21, 2021.
Brianna Nicometi, 30, is charged with welfare fraud 4th degree, a felony, and offering a false instrument to file 1st, a felony, after an investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services.
It is alleged that Nicometi failed to report all household income while receiving public assistance. By failing to report all income, she received $17,606.72 in county taxpayer benefits that she was not entitled to receive.
She is due in the Town of Warsaw Court on October 18, /2021.
