WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/November 8, 2021

On November 5, 2021, a Wyoming County Jail inmate was charged after breaking a jail cell door window and a television on two separate days.

John P. Mann, 31, of Portageville, N.Y. is charged with criminal mischief 2nd and criminal mischief 3rd degree.

Mann was arraigned before Village of Warsaw Justice Fusani and was committed back to the Wyoming County Jail on no bail.

Mann is scheduled to re-appear in the Village of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Terrance Johnson, 31, of Bufflao, N.Y., was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on November 7, 2021.

Johnson was stopped for speeding over the posted 55 mile per hour speed limit.

During an investigation, it was discovered that Johnson’s driving privilege in New York State was suspended for failing to answer to a previous summons. Johnson was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and speeding over the posted 55 mile per hour speed zone.

Johnson was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court on November 15, 2021 at 3:00p.m. for initial arraignment.

Maurice P. Jackson, 28, of Cheektowaga, N.Y., was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on November 7. 2021. Jackson was stopped for traffic infractions when he was found to have two active suspensions on his NYS driver’s license for failure to pay child support and driving while ability impaired by alcohol.

Jackson was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, unlicensed operation, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, no front plate, and side windows non-transparent.

Jackson was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on November 24, 2021.
