NYS Police/Silver Springs woman charged with welfare fraud

On November 9, 2021, State Police Amity Troopers arrested Sarah R Tuttle, 28, of Silver Springs, for Welfare Fraud in the fourth degree and Falsifying Business Records in the first degree. 

On November 9, 2021, SP Amity Troopers investigating a welfare fraud case from Allegany County Department of Social Services, determined that Tuttle had provided a false address while completing an application for benefits, causing an overpayment.  Tuttle was arrested and processed at SP Amity. Tuttle was issued an appearance ticket for the village of Belmont court, where she is to appear in November 2021.

PRESS RELEASE

On November 13, 2021, Troopers out of State Police Warsaw arrested Timothy M. Henry, 26, of Le Roy, NY, for Petit Larceny. 

Troopers responded to a petit larceny complaint at Walmart on State Route 19 in the town of Warsaw.  Troopers worked with Walmart loss-prevention.  Henry took merchandise valued at $74.54 and passed all points of purchase without paying.  Henry was transported to SP Warsaw for processing.  Henry was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Warsaw court at a later date.

PRESS RELEASE

On November 9, 2021, Troopers out of SP Warsaw with the assistance of New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision arrested Ashaleyc M. Epps., 27, of Buffalo, NY, for Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.

Troopers arrested Ashaleyc M. Epps for having marijuana on her person while inside the Attica Correctional Facility.  Epps was transported to SP Warsaw for processing and released on appearance tickets returnable to Attica town court at a later date.
