NYS POLICE/Batavia man charged in traffic stop in Perry

On December 10, 2021, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Thomas C. Rada, 21, of Batavia, NY, for driving while ability Impaired by drugs. 

During a traffic stop on Route 246 in the town of Perry, Rada was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Rada had been allegedly operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition.  Rada failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.

Rada was released with appearance tickets for the town of Perry court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
