On December 16, 2021, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Herbert J. Perry, 49, of Sheldon, NY, for driving while intoxicated.

Troopers were dispatched to a car in the ditch on Armburst road in the town of Sheldon. Perry was placed under arrest and transported to SP Warsaw for processing and recorded .27% BAC.

Perry was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Sheldon court for January 17, 2022.

On December 17, 2021, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Scott J. Hinze, 35, of Batavia, NY, for driving while intoxicated as a class E felony/prior conviction.

Troopers stopped Hinze on North road in the town of Alden for failure to keep right. Hinze was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests and transported to SP Clarence for processing. Hinze recorded a .16% BAC.

Hinze was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Alden court for a later date.

On December 15, 2021, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Kya J. McKnight, 26, of Rochester, NY, for felony driving while ability impaired by drugs-previous conviction within 10 years, and two counts of Leandra law for having children in the vehicle.

During a traffic stop on Route 19 in the town of Middlebury, McKnight was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined McKnight had been allegedly operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition.  McKnight had failed standardized field sobriety tests.  She was arrested and transported to SP Warsaw where she was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office.

McKnight was released with appearance tickets for the town of Middlebury court in January 2022.

On December 17, 2021 at 12:41p.m., Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Corey W. Bilby, 34, of Bolivar, NY, for petit larceny.

Troopers were dispatched to Walmart on Rt. 19 in the town of Warsaw for check the welfare of a customer who was disoriented in the restroom and attempting to steal merchandise.

Bilby was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Warsaw court for January 10, 2022.
