Criminal Impersonation 2nd Degree, 11:50 PM, Saturday, December 25, 2021, Watson St. – On December 25th, 2021, Officers were investigating a disturbance call in the area of Thorpe street. While investigating, officers made contact with the defendant, Daquan J. BUTLER, M/25 of Liberty, NY, who allegedly lied about his name, and had a warrant. Butler was arrested and arraigned on 12/26/2021. He was released and is scheduled to reappear at a later date.   

DWI; Aggravated DWI BAC >.18% or more; Failure to use designated lane, 1:32 AM, Friday, December 24, 2021, E. Main St. – On 12/24/2021, Daniel P. HINCA, M/26 of Ft. Myers, Fla., was arrested for felony DWI, and aggravated DWI, following a traffic stop in the City of Batavia. It is alleged that Hinca was found to have had a BAC of .18% or more while operating a motor vehicle and had a previous conviction of a similar offense. Hinca was released with appearance tickets and is to appear on 1/11/22 at 1:00 PM.  

Criminal Contempt 2nd, 3:07 PM, Monday, December 20, 2021, Apollo Dr. – Nicholas P. KNOUSE, M/18 of Attica, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge following an investigation into a complaint where he was allegedly found in possession of a rifle, in violation of an order of protection. Knouse was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Batavia City Court on 1/4/2022 at 1:00 PM.

Criminal Contempt 2nd; Aggravated Harassment 2nd, 6:21 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021, E. Main St. – Paul A. INOSTROZA, M/31 of Rochester, NY, was arrested on 12/23/2021 at 1. W. Main St. (Batavia City Court) following a domestic incident on 12/11/2021 that occurred on E. Main St. It is alleged that Inostroza violated a full stay away order of protection and also left threatening voicemails to the victim. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Batavia City Court on 1/11/2021 at 1:00 PM.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:30 AM, Thursday, November 25, 2021, W. Main St. – Marvin K. BARBER JR. M/36 of Batavia NY, was arrested on 12/23/2021 for the listed charge. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on 11/25/2021, where Barber is alleged to have been in a physical altercation while inside a City of Batavia business. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Batavia City Court on 1/4/2022.  

Disorderly Conduct, 10:59 AM, Thursday, November 25, 2021, W. Main St. – Eric J. MCGILL, M/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for disorderly conduct on 12/21/2021 following a disturbance that took place at a local business on 11/25/2021. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Batavia City Court on 1/11/2022 at 1:00PM.

Criminal Mischief 4th; Harassment 2nd, 2:21 AM, Friday, November 12, 2021, E Main St. – On 12/23/2021, Batavia Police arrested Richard G. HAFFORD, M/43, of Batavia NY, following an investigation into a physical altercation which occurred at an address on E. Main St. on 11/12/2021. He was issued an appearance ticket scheduling him to appear in Batavia City Court on 1/11/2022 at 1:00 PM.

Bench Warrant, 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, W. Main St. – On 12/25/2021, Daquan J. BUTLER, M/25 of Liberty NY, was arrested on the above listed charge. Butler failed to appear in Batavia City Court after having been previously issued an appearance ticket. He was processed and arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.

Petit Larceny; Grand Larceny 4th; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, 3:57 AM, Monday, December 27, 2021, Mill St. – Timmy L. TAYLOR, M/47 of Batavia NY, was arrested for petit larceny, aggravated unlicensed operation and grand larceny in the 4th degree on 12/27/2021. It is alleged that Taylor stole a cell phone and a vehicle from the victim and then operated the vehicle on a revoked license. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Batavia City Court on 1/11/2022 at 1:00 PM.
